What’s wrong with people? | The Naturist Page

I’ve come across an article where people are making a fuss over parents bathing with their kids or on Santa’s lap while breast feeding and Santa’s expression was eyes wide and a “OMG” expression on his face with their kids and taking photos in the most normal fashion. It’s not like they are being lewd or anything of that nature, so why the fuss? We were all born naked and if your anything like me, after 37 years of being a Naturist — you see one naked body you seen them all. It’s time for people to realize that it’s completely normal for us to expose any part of our body. what is not to be done is publicly explicit our bodies and publicly have sex or any other of such nature is wrong. Keep them things behind closed doors/walls. Naturism or Nudism isn’t about sexually exploiting or actions with the body. In a nut shell, Naturism is exactly the same lifestyle as textiles. The only difference is, we as Naturists are clothes-free and comfortable in our own skin.

The Main Hick Up In Society (Personal Opinion) | The Naturist Page

The main hick up in society is the textile parents who teach their kids to be ashamed of their bodies and that it’s not ok to be naked in front of others — even their own siblings! They teach their kids to be afraid to be “Natural” and make it a bad thing. Seriously, in my opinion this has got to change and we need to teach our kids that nudity is normal and natural and not teach them that nudity is an abnormal thing and just because there is a naked body that it automatically means its sexual. I grew up as a naturist and growing up in school (before high school) the minute someone mentioned “boob, penis, vagina…etc etc… the whole room is in giggles … all but me, I didn’t find it funny.. what was so funny about that? I grew up in a family that taught me the respects of ones own body and the respect of others. I understand now why they giggled and laughed because they grew up in a textile environment. If the world (long shot here..) would raise their kids the way I was, I think their would be alot more socially accepted non-sexual nudity.

Located about 50km south-west of Montreal in Saint-Antoine-Abbe, La Pommerie is currently my favourite Naturist campgrounds that I have been to. Warm friendly staff and to be honest, it’s HARD to get bored over there because of so many activities you can attend. Might I remind you this is a family orientated place and DO NOT accept singles. couples only and family.

In English, “La Pommerie” is translated to The Apple Orchard. and indeed it is, their are ALOT of apple trees all over the campgrounds. I never asked when I was there if you are allowed to eat the apples as they grow, I’d suggest asking the staff before doing so.

The have two swimming pools with salt water; as well as a children’s pool for children 4 years and younger… so its much more sanitary for a salt pool and better than chlorine. They also have a lake and a beach with a powerful water jet that shoots right up in the sky in the middle of the lake. Softball field, 3 tennis courts, 2 volleyball courts, a vineyard, a restaurant with access to alcohol (must drink inside the designated area to drink and not away from the restaurant. they also have a Massotherapy center if you need a massage. they even have archery over there.

Bring your own bike! if you like biking you can bring your own bike there and enjoy all the paths they have to bike around the campgrounds. if you do not have a bike, don’t sorry they have extras there if you want to get around. I would however suggest to bring your own portable bicycle pump because many of the bikes tend to lack the air pressure.

on a scale of 1 to 10, and 10 being excellent, i give La Pommerie a 9 out of 10!
